Nasreen + Farhan

Its not often that i take up a very last minute wedding, for me its all in the planning, but when i get a call from an collegaue in Oxford, Patrick opm productions, i jump in my car, and take the breif on the journey down to Oxford, not knowing what to expect but as it happens, both families were the upmost of cool, guests were welcoming, venue was schweet, weather was hot, and the Walima was more chilled than a bottle of Shloer…
Thank you Nasreen & Farhan for making me a last minute addition to your wedding.
In Nasreens words
I was a 47 year old divorced muslim mother of 4 living in Oxford, who within 25 days was engaged to her soulmate in the form of an itinerent paragliding instructor living on the Isle of Wight. We were married within 10 weeks in April 2009. A year later, I wanted to celebrate our Walima on our 1st wedding anniversary. In everything I wanted something out of the ordinary.
As soon as I saw Monir’s website, I felt “here is a guy who speaks my language”, he makes his own rules, there is nothing boring and predictable about his work. At very short notice, without any rehersal he bombed down to Oxford and produced a wonderful souvenir of our intimate celebration. He caught the delight of the childrens antics, the happiness of friends re-united, and used the Oxford backdrop to perfection. He put Farhan and myself at ease, and shot beautiful pictures full of intimacy and happiness.
Thank you Monir, Nasreen Rich
